We’ve got an exciting announcement: The new version of WP Highrise Contact Plugin is here!

If you haven’t tried this program, you should. You’ll love it. This plugin integrates seamlessly WordPress with 37signals’ Highrise web-based CRM to make tracking your leads, contacts, and opportunities even easier!

What makes Highrise really great is its simplistic user interface. You’ll be amazed at how something so easy to use can do so much. I know we were. And if there’s something you wish it did, you’ll find a number of extras and add-ons for everything from Freshbooks and MailChimp to ZenDesk and Pulse. ‘There’s an app for that as well. An iPhone app, that is.

(As for WordPress, really, it doesn’t need any introduction. It’s THE blogging platform for the web, so if you haven’t tried it, but would like to, you can find it free at WordPress.com.)

This version of the WP Highrise Plugin is mainly a bug fix release, but we did add a few goodies. In particular, we think you’ll love the PHP version checker we added right into the plugin’s settings. You see, this plugin was created specifically for PHP 5, which means it can’t work with PHP4. So, if you do install the program on a PHP4 server, you’ll get an error message to let you know. It should save you a lot of troubleshooting time.

What’s Next For WP Highrise Contact?

We’re currently working on version 2.0 of our plugin, which will include new features such as multiple form capability. Once it’s up and running, you’ll be able to run as many forms as you need and customize them with messages, tags, and categories. This is contact management and CRM the way it was meant to be!
